How to use static values (recommended approach)

Select your integration
First, navigate to the Integrate tab and click Airtable or Notion.

Map your form fields on Fillout
Go to the Mappings section and define a new mapping for the field you want to save to. In this case, we will choose the Status field. Then, select 
That’s it! Your form is good to go.

Prevent respondents from editing the default value
Another option is to go back to Edit from the top menu. Click the field or question followed by itssettings icon
. In the right-hand panel, under Logic, toggle Hide always
. Now, the Status question containing the answer, Finished, will no longer be visible to respondents.

Important: If you’re creating an update form, you’ll need to use the static value approach described above instead.
